Sky Watch Friday

A storm came through Wednesday. As I came out of school to go home the sky to the east was pretty and blue with white fluffy clouds. To the west behind the school the clouds were dark and angry looking. Here is the dividing point between light and dark.

The pictures below were taken on the way home. We got rain and golf ball size hail in the county. Luckily for us the hail wasn't on our side of the county.

Sharon,
The clouds seem to leave a respectful distance around the treetops. Wonderful!

The team of photographs marvellously, the colours of sky but also the clouds give with their volume intensity in the photographs.
Very good and the three!

Great captures of the progression of the storm clouds. It's quite exciting when you combine the adrenaline rush of an anticipated storm with the adrenaline rush of photography, isn't it? (Well, in my opinion, anyway)

That looked frightening. Golf-ball sized hail? I have enough when we are getting "peas"!

I love the activity at the line of dark and light. Those little wisps of clouds flying in front of the storm. Beautiful. My Sky Watch is here. Thank you.
