K is for Kitty
While this is not strictly a photo, it is amusing. My Kitty Bob is being attacked by a mockingbird. she has a nest in my lady banks out front and Bob had the gall to lay on the front lawn. Mockingbirds are notorious for agressively protecting the area near their nests. Hope you enjoy this. We keep a pretty tight rein on him in the spring so Bob did not hurt the mockingbird then or later. The babies hatched, grew and flew off in their own good time.

Actually I am surprised that Bob the Kitty had that much patience.

Caring for their own children is a common habit between all animals on earth. A brave mockingbird, and a sound of that bird I never has heard before.
