ABC Wednesday - O

O is for One Old Photo.

This is a photo of my grandfather (center behind bar) and his two
brothers at the saloon they owned in the late 1800s or early 1900s.
It was The Chrietzberg Brothers Saloon in Quitman, Texas.
I just wish the family still had that mirror or something.
This picture clicks nicely.

ABC Wednesday is hosted by
Mrs. Nesbitt at her place.

What a good picture, I see what you mean about the mirror.. I like the bull as well, and the bar. There is some much to see in this.

Oh, Sharon, I knew we were kindred spirits. My father-in-law had a speakeasy in San Francisco.

Great shot. There is a lot of history in that photograph. I will study it some more.

How are things in Lake Fork Country?

Martha and I live in Ft. Worth now, but Martha is from Greenville and I am from Powderly (near Paris).

My "O" is up,
come visit.

I love old photos, too. Funny you said you would like to have that great old mirror. We were just chatting about how fun it would be to have the old Butterine sign from the store. Wonder what happened to all those old things?

Thanks for stopping by my place. I enjoyed your comment.
