Camera Critters and Scrumptious Sunday

This is my little dog, Rusty, posing for me in a local park. He is a good dog and will "stay" so I've been having some fun posing him. On his blog he is hoping to be America's Next Top Dog Idol.

Misty Dawn hosts Camera Critters.
Please visit for a lot more great critter photos.

Buttermilk Pie
1 1/2 cups of white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 t lemon juice
3T flour
1/2 cup butter (or margarine)
2 t vanilla extract
1 9-inch, unbaked and chilled pie shell
Beat the eggs thoroughly and add to the sugar and flour. Add 1/2 cup butter, belted, and one cut buttermilk. Mix well then fold in 2 t vanilla extract and 1 t of lemon juice. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 350* for 35 minutes. Resist opening the door.

Rusty is most definitely the nest America's Top Dog Idol! Such a beautiful day for this pic too~the background almost looks too good to be real-hehe! Beautiful pic~as always!

Buttermilk Pie~sounds great-I think. I'm not a fan of buttermilk itself but when used in cooking~I love it-like buttermilk biscuits!

Thanks for joining us again this week! Give Rusty a little scratch from me. Thanks for your input on my teaching question too...AND Thanks for visiting mine.

Have a great day!
3 Weeks and counting!

Buttermilk pie sounds good. Can you add any toppings or any other flavors to it?

Rusty the wonder dog..
You asked about the programe I used on that old photo.. it was a one I got free on a magazine, and it is called MicroGrafx Media Manager.. it might be worth googling it as there are free downloads of it knockin about. To fix the corner I used the 'Cloning Tool'... it really is a easy to use programe.

Buttermilk Pie is made a lot in this area too but I have never had one. I am dying to try it though. I've heard it is so good.
