Rain across the lake
I took this from the car. We were on Highway 155 on the middle bridge going over Lake Palestine. Wish we could have stopped, but as soon as you get of the bridges the view is blocked. I wasn't driving! :)

You got a beautiful shot anyway. My Sky Watch shot was also taken from a moving vehicle. I guess that shows either our photography prowess or the excellent technology of our cameras. Let's go with the former. ;-)
I love cloud/storm pictures! Great capture especially on the move!
Sharon, lovely view form the car. I hope you weren't behind that wheel though!! :P
Enjoy the weekend!
You sure can see a storm is brewing!
Great job.
I liked Jo's comment - as teachers I say we stick together with the
photography prowess. ;)
Always interesting to see the elements at work but glad its not here. Nothing but sunshine. . . Ü
awesome...
Visit me in here Thanks
beautiful
Mine in here Thanks
That is a great picture - and the sky looks just like the sky TBSITW and I saw yesterday from the car.
Great photo,looks like rain!
That is gorgeous, Sharon. I love rain. This is magic.
Ha! I know what t's like to be the passenger wanting to stop to take a good shot. ;-)
Sharon: Sometimes even a stormy Sky can be a great photo, nice job.
Great photo! Happy SWF!
That sky takes "Louis" back to summers growing up in Lubbock, TX....
"Louis" thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.
It looks like you are filling the lake.
Thank you for sharing!
Great capture, Sharon. Yeah, sometimes it's better to let someone else drive. There are so many wonderful things to see out there. Thanks for sharing.
Rain from a distance is always interesting to see. Since we moved to California it's become a bit of a novelty!
So pretty! Glad you weren't driving. ;)
Intense .. and yet so lovely

Sharon, I love photos/weather like this. I love watching a storm come in.
I like the rain, it makes good photos. Lake Palestine? I have to see a map of Texas now...
It's so hard to capture shots through car windows (or with wind blowing if the window's down), but you did a wonderful job on this photo! Thanks for sharing. I've got a few cloud shots taken a few days ago at Sacred Ruminations.
Hugs and blessings,
I like rain showers in the distance, and the smell in the air.
What a beautiful shot! Thanks for the lovely comment you left on mine.
Beautiful. I do love teh lok of clouds while they're raining, and the sound of raindrops on rooftops too.
Thank you
Great capture and very nice view from the bridge.
I love rain pictures. Good one!
Greaaat pictures! Isn't it something how the sky can turn color and turn from dark clouds to rain is such a short time. And to Laura, your niece, be safe. Personally, I would have wished for a Mustang, but there is still time!! Mustang Mike
Very beautiful picture for swf
You did a good job, even if you couldn't stop. I always enjoy seeing rain off in the distance like that.
Good shot! Sure looks like rain is on the way.
I love rain shots like this. Lovely.
We're used to take pictures of 2/3landscapes, 1/3 sky. Sometimes, we should better take pictures with 2/3 sky because it can be so "intense" and changing compared to landscape.
I guess the rain.
Sorry to be so late. I was very buzy. Have a nice Sunday.
