I was at a workshop at school today and a call came in to one of the teachers with some bad news. One of our district's 7th graders was swimming in a pond near his home and drowned. He was a special child that everyone knew. He was in my room when he was in first grade. We discussed memories of C. and mourned him.
Please pray for his family.

Oh how horrible! I will pray for his family and friends. That is so sad. We've had three drownings in public pools in the last two weeks. ???

Such a tragedy. I always cry and pray for families that lose a child. It has to be especially hard when you knew and loved the child.......
